Sam Davies and the foiling IMOCA60

Offshore sailor Sam Davies explains the leap in performance with the new generation foils.

Davies and her co-skipper Paul Meilhat were the first to fit the new blades on the IMOCO60 and had thousands of miles under their belts as they started the 2019 Transat Jacques Vabre. They are also well ahead of the curve when it comes to understanding how to work with intelligent autopilots.
