VIDEO: Sailing the new Clipper 70

Matthew Sheahan of Yachting World provides this video report on the new Clipper 70 during the prototype’s commissioning trials. This will be the boat used in the 40,000nm 2013-14 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

A plumb bow, a chined hull and beamy aggressive lines, the new Clipper 70 is a big departure from the company’s former 68 footers. In the June issue (on sale 9 May) Yachting World takes a close look at this exciting new pay-to-play global racer in a major Yachting World feature.
