Buchan and Buchan win Star North Americans

Newport Beach, CA (June 9, 2013) – Forty-two boats competed in the Star North American Championship, hosted by Newport Harbor Yacht Club. After six races, Brian Ledbetter/ Gregg Morton held a tenuous two point lead going into the final day, but it would prove to be not enough. With Carl Buchan/ Jamie Buchan winning the seventh and final race, they rose from third to take the title, with Andrew Campbell/ John Von Schwarz in second and Ledbetter/ Morton in third. – Final results
