Golden Gate Yacht Club – The State of the Club

As the official club of the America’s Cup defender Oracle Team USA, Golden Gate Yacht Club has recently completed significant renovations. Commodore Norbert Bajurin reports the work is “being financed not out of dues or special assessment but by the donations of a few, very generous members.”

Nice to have those kind of members. The work includes…

• New elevator;
• Painting of both the exterior and interior;
• Renovation of the bathrooms upstairs and down;
• Refurbishment of both bars, making them much more attractive, comfortable and ADA compliant;
• Replacement of damaged doors and windows;
• Installation of attractive new hardwood floors upstairs and down, including the main staircase;
• New fixtures and furniture throughout.
