Observer Single-handed Trans-Atlantic Race closes in on finish

(June 12, 2013) – The Observer Single-handed Trans-Atlantic Race (OSTAR) began in Plymouth, England on May 31, with the fleet of 17 entrants now closing in on the finish line in Newport, RI. With just over 161 nm to go, Andrea Mura on Open 50 Vento di Sardegna leads the fleet followed by Rober Langevin on the 53-foot trimaran Branec IV. – Event website
