Lightning North Americans postponed by thunderstorms

Westport, CT (August 22, 2013) – The second day of championship racing at the 2013 Lightning North Americans was thwarted by thunderstorms, with racing ultimately postponed until Friday. Allan Terhune, Jr. with crew Katie Terhune and John Wilson hold a narrow 2 point lead in the 36-boat championship fleet, with qualifying winner Tito Gonzalez, Cristian Herman and Trinidad Gonzalez in second. Racing concludes Friday.
