VIDEO: SEIKO 49er World Championships 2013 – The Movie

The 2013 SEIKO 49er & 49erFX World Championships were held in Marseille France on September 21-29, hosting over 140 of the best sailing teams in the world to compete for these two championships.  Light conditions was the main characteristic of the event except for the penultimate day of racing where the wind picked up offering a great spectacle. It was Kiwi domination at the end with the London Olympics silver medalists Burling and Tuke dominating in men’s fleet while Maloney and Meech were the first 49erFX sailors to be crowned world champions.
