Belgium youth wins Catsailor of the Year title

Twelve year old Henri Demesmaeker (BEL) overcame a tight race with Americans Taylor Reiss and Matthew Whitehead to be named Catsailor of the Year 2013. Demesmaeker had won the F16 World Championship, while the Americans were the reigning F18 Youth World Champs. The multihull website, Catamaran Racing, News & Design, had selected 11 nominees for the title of Catsailor of the Year 2013, with Demesmaeker and Reiss/Whitehead gaining 80% of the vote.
