2014 ORR Regional Championship Racing Series

The 2014 ORR Regional Championships for the East Coast, Great Lakes, and West Coast (Northern and Southern divisions) is open to all yachts with ORR certificates, which will automatically be entered in the appropriate region. There is no entry fee to participate.

For all regattas where ORR is offered, results for that event shall be used, and the yacht must enter the ORR class, even if other classes are offered. Yacht configurations shall be in accordance with the ORR certificate on file. One design yachts may compete using their class rules.

In races where the ORR rule is not used, an ORR overlay will be used. Yachts may enter those races in the handicaps offered in the NOR. Yachts racing in an event that is part of the Championship series where no ORR Class is offered and want to be scored for the ORR Series Championship, are required to indicate to the ORR Committee the variances in sailing configuration, if any, from that listed on their ORR Certificate; so the appropriate ORR handicap for the overlay can be used.
