Qualifying (finally) complete at Lightning North Americans

Published on August 13th, 2014

Sheboygan, WI (August 13, 2014) – The 106-boat fleet at the Lightning North Americans have endured unwelcoming winds this week. With light winds on Monday and rough conditions on Tuesday, the event schedule was revised for the Qualifying series to continue today. Light conditions prevailed again, but were sufficient to complete the minimum three races needed to split the field into Championship, Presidents, and Governors fleets. Based on the Qualifying results, the top 35 boats will vie for the title on Thursday and Friday. Event websiteResultsPhotos
