Fifty-six keelboat college teams entered in Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta

The Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta, organized by the Storm Trysail Foundation and the Larchmont Yacht Club, will be held October 11-12 in Larchmont, NY. Fifty-six keelboat college teams from Canada, France, and throughout USA will compete in two handicap divisions (IRC and PHRF) and in three one design fleets (J/105, J/109, and J/44).

For the second year, the winner of the Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta will win the EDHEC Challenge Trophy, earning participation at no cost to the 47th EDHEC Sailing Cup that will be held from April 24 to May 2 in La Rochelle, France. Georgetown University won the 2013 EDHEC Challenge and sailed in France during the 46th EDHEC Sailing Cup.

The EDHEC Sailing Cup is 100% organized by students of the EDHEC Business School, with 3,000 participants coming from more than 20 countries.
