Highlight Show: Chicago Match Cup 2014

Published on October 16th, 2014

The fourth stage of the 2014 Alpari World Match Racing Tour landed in Chicago for the Chicago Match Cup on September 17-21. Twelve of the best teams in the world set up camp to battle for the title in the Chicago Match Race Center’s TOM 28 Max’s. The Windy City took its time to live up to its name but conditions for the knock-out rounds were perfect. Ian Williams arrived in Chicago at the top of the pile but defending Champion Taylor Canfield was not going to standby and watch his title disappear. Throw in the ever steady Frenchman Mathieu Richard and this years King of the late charge Bjorn Hansen and you have a great mix of teams all vying for the win and to take away valuable World Championship points.
