Peter Hall wins Soling World Championship

In 18-25 knots of wind, Canadians Peter Hall, William Hall and Johan Offermans completed a dramatic comeback finish with 300 meters to go to win the Soling World Championship on (Nov. 25-29) in Punta del Este, Uruguay. Hall beat out Brazilian Cicero Hartmann (2014 South American Champion) by one point amid a field of 27 teams which included 5 previous Soling World Champions from 6 counties and 3 continents. The event enjoyed 3 days of light shifty difficult sailing, followed by 2 days of windy sailing. DETAILS
