Phast Performance by Phaedo

(April 10, 2015) – Lloyd Thornburg and his crew aboard the MOD70 Phaedo3, whilst training for the upcoming Les Voiles de St Barth, established a new time of 01:30:19 for sailing around the island of St Maarten. Monitored by the St Martin Yacht Club, Lloyd along with his crew of Brian Thompson, Miles Seddon, Warren Fitgerald, Sam Bason, Sam Goodchild, Fraser Brown and Paul Allen bettered the previous mark of 02:04:36 set by Steve Fossett in 2003 on 125-foot catamaran PlayStation.
