Shifty winds on second day of Star Western Hemispheres

Miami, FL (April 17, 2015) – The second day of the 2015 Star Western Hemisphere Championship posted two more races, with shifty winds of 8-11 knots on Biscayne Bay. After day one leader John MacCausland and Bruno Prada posted an OCS in the day’s first race, the door opened for Lars Schmidt Grael / Samuel Goncalves (BRA) to move up from second and take the lead after four races. The big mover today was Brian Ledbetter / Joshua Revkin, posting a 1-2 to now sit in second overall, three points off the lead. Eight races are scheduled over the four day event. Details.
