VIDEO: No Ordinary Women, Episode 3

NO ORDINARY WOMEN is the high-energy and inspirational reality documentary series following Team SCA and the lives of a group of determined women in the build up to sailing’s toughest event, the Volvo Ocean Race, beginning in September 2014.

In 8 gripping episodes we witness the dawn of incredible friendships, extraordinary feats of physical fitness, emotions tested to their limits, and a large helping of girl power. We will see the team selected and life-long dreams fulfilled as they become a force to be reckoned with within a male-dominated competition.

In this episode the team is struck by tragedy as one of the coaches is rushed to the hospital. Despite their grief they return to their training and a new team of girls arrive. The new arrivals are setting the team back and they realize that they have a long way to go. In this episode we also get the chance to learn more about Liz Wardley. This episode is dedicated to Magnus Olsson (1949-2013).
