The National Sailing Hall of Fame’s STEM Sailing Engineering Program held a highly successful Summer Bridge program for students in grades 9-12. After learning basic concept in boat design through a series of lessons and explorations, the students built and launched their own sailboats out of cardboard and recycled materials, testing them on the high seas of Ego Alley and the harbor in front of the National Sailing Hall of Fame.
