Don Wilson and Stephanie Roble Number One U.S. Match Racers

(September 9, 2015) – Don Wilson (Chicago, IL) regains the number one spot in the U.S. rankings with a win at the Chicago Match Cup qualifier and a fourth place at the Chicago Match Cup, a stop on the U.S. Grand Slam Series. David Storrs (Southport, CT) is number two on the strength of his wins at the 2015 Better Chip Match regatta at Oakcliff Sailing and the Chicago Match Cup. Chris Poole (Portland, Maine) and his Riptide Racing Team is number three on the strength of his second place finish at the Chicago Match Cup Qualifier and fourth place at the Oakcliff International, also a stop on the U.S. Grand Slam Series. Steve Lowery (Chicago, IL) is in fourth place and Russ Silvestri (San Francisco, CA) is fifth.

Stephanie Roble (East Troy, WI) and her Epic Racing team continue as the number one U.S. women match racers, and remain number three in the world, with a strong second place finish at the Lysekil Women’s Match, a stop on the WIM Series, and a Bronze Medal at the 2015 ISAF Women’s World Match Racing Championship. Nicole Breault (San Francisco, CA) is in second place with wins at the 2015 ISAF Nations Cup and U.S. Women’s Match Racing Championship. Danielle Gallo (Oakcliff Sailing) moves into third, followed by.Katie Maxim (San Francisco, CA) and Madeline Gill (Westport, CT).
