Starting the 27-boat Sonar World Championship with two firsts, Karl Ziegler (USA) held on to win the 8-race series. With racing on September 17-20 in Falmouth, Massachusetts, Canadians Dave Franzel and Henry Demone finished tied for second, with Franzel winning on countback. Details.
