French team sweeps day at St-Barth Cata Cup

Saint-Barth (November 20, 2015) – In stunning conditions, the three races of the day at the St-Barth Cata Cup were all won by Orion Martin and Charles Gaté

“We made a very good tactical choice at the start of the first race and we were able to maintain the lead throughout,” reported the French team. “The other two races were trickier, in particular the last run which was really close but we were able to reach the first buoy in the lead and in the end, win the three races of the day.”

About the St-Barth Cata Cup

The 8th edition of the St-Barth Cata Cup is a high-calibre event where F18  catamaran enthusiasts come together under the Caribbean sun. After three editions in 1992, 1993 and 1994, the St. Barth Cata Cup was relaunched in 2008 by Vincent Jordil, Jeff Ledee and Thierry Linares. The St. Barth Cata Cup brings together competitors of various nationalities, from world champions to Saint Barth residents.
