Now in its ninth season, the 2015 Extreme Sailing Series™ will come to a crescendo against the stunning backdrop of Sydney Harbour as nine Extreme 40 teams compete on December 10-13 for the 2015 Series title.

The 2015 Extreme Sailing Series is an eight event tour travelling through Asia, Europe, and Australia, where teams compete using the evenly-matched one design Extreme 40 catamaran on short-course tracks in front of the public.

Winds of 8-14 knots are predicted as Leigh McMillan on The Wave, Muscat is poised to enter the history books as the only skipper in the Series’ nine years to win three championship titles in the final outing for the Extreme 40 catamaran before the Series moves to the GC32 foiling catamaran in 2016.

Commentary and expert insight into the racing will be from New Zealand’s legendary sailing pundit Peter Lester and Extreme 40 veteran and former Series winner, Pete Cumming. Live coverage includes a multi-camera feed and onboard camera, as well as analytics from technical partner SAP. A graphics feed will be provided separately for the duration of racing.
