Big Boats Make Men Feel Special

(April 1, 2016) – Bill Tripp and his yacht design team believe that large yachts should sail well, but more importantly, they should make men feel good about themselves. So when a rich yet inexperienced sailor who needed some reassurance approached Tripp, his design team knew a long-range sailing yacht in the 280-foot range would make him feel special.

Fast forward, the yacht that was built in Amsterdam (a place which makes all men feel special) has recently made its grand entrance. And unlike almost any other sailing yacht in this size range, the new yacht makes other yachts feign in jealousy. It has big fenders and it knows how to use them.

The boat is more than adequate with its dual, 300-foot-tall carbon fiber masts. “Tripping is what this boat is all about,” says Tripp. “She’s designed to provide a kick-ass ride around the globe with fabulous accommodations to, well, provide pleasure.”

Early observations is that this boat is going to provide some good times. “I’m on a boat and, it’s going fast and I got a nautical themed Pashmina Afghan,” said T Pain during a test sail. “I’m the king of the world on a boat like Leo. If you’re on the shore, then you’re sure not me-oh.”

As the blenders whirl and the sails are kept furled, this marvel of yacht design and engineering will be better than any regatta trophy or trophy wife.
