Round the Island Race: Big numbers, smashed record
The annual Round the Island Race is a spectacle. With over fifteen hundred entries and 16,000 sailors, the horizon becomes a wall of sails in whichever direction you look. But this year’s race was particularly special. Champagne sailing conditions for all and for one team, a smashed race record.

This month’s World Sailing Show has the story plus footage of the record breaking run.
