The 139-foot America, a replica of the schooner that launched the America’s Cup, has been on a North American tour as the official ambassador of The America’s Cup.

Here she is coming to visit Pequot Yacht Club in Southport, CT.

The original America started the America’s Cup tradition in 1851 by defeating the best the British could offer to win the Royal Yacht Squadron’s “100 Pound Cup.”
