Navy Wins McMillan Cup

Ten college teams competed in the McMillan Cup, held October 22-23 and hosted by the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Sailed in Navy 44s, strong winds abandoned racing on the day one but three races were completed on day two in westerly winds between 15 and 22 knots, sunny skies and typically chilly fall temperatures. Navy dominated the event with three bullets, followed by US Coast Guard (4-2-3), and NY Maritime (3-4-4). Full report.
