VIDEO: Returning from Destruction

Following a training accident which resulted in a dramatic wing breakage, SoftBank Team Japan’s shore crew was hard at work repairing the damage. In an impressive 2 days the shore crew had the team back out on the water, and gained valuable experience which will serve them well during America’s Cup racing next year. All six teams (5 challengers, 1 defender) are marching toward the 35th America’s Cup in Bermuda, with almost five weeks of competition starting on May 26 and finishing on or before June 27, 2017.
