In the Summer of 1994-95 this skiff race on Sydney Harbour saw one of the series favourites AAMI seeing red. Skipper David Witt having one of the most trying days of his career, with two near collisions at the start setting AAMI up for a tough race on a fresh Sydney day. The frustrated team was obstructed by a Maritime Vessel out of position that seemingly had no clued-in personnel on board, prompting the call for an inquiry.
