Ched Proctor sweeps Lightning Circuit

Miami, FL (March 25, 2017) – After racing was cancelled yesterday at the Lightning Midwinter Championship due to high winds, the 29-boat fleet got in four races today to wrap up the 3-day series.

Ched Proctor with crew Jay Lurie and Ben Cesare rolled a 2-1-2-5 today to take the title by 7 points over David Peck with crew Nina and Dave Peck.

This was the final stop of 2-event Lightning Southern Circuit which began March 19-21 with the Winter Lightning Championship in St. Petersburg, FL. Proctor’s victory in both events earned him the overall title.
