Jake Mayol wins Naples Sabot Nationals

The 2017 Naples Sabot Junior Nationals attracted 118 sailors on Aug 8-10 to compete for the annual title on Mission Bay in San Diego, CA. Erik Hou won the qualifying series on day one which divided the competitors into four divisions, with the top 36 vying for the title. After five races, Jake Mayol and Peter Busch were tied going into the final race, with Mayol finishing just ahead of Busch for the win. Hou finished three points off the lead in third.
