Tampa Show Postponed due to Storm
Published on September 6th, 2017
Out of an abundance of caution and to protect the safety of exhibitors, partners, and attendees, the National Marine Manufacturers Association has postponed the Progressive® Insurance Tampa Boat Show as Hurricane Irma potentially threatens the Tampa region. Originally planned for September 8-10, the show has been rescheduled to October 13-15.
“While we are disappointed to postpone the event, our main concern is for the safety of the boaters, manufacturers and dealers that attend our show,” said Kevin Murphy, show manager. “This decision was made to ensure attendees and exhibitors have time to adequately prepare for Hurricane Irma.”
