The 2018 Lauderdale Olympic Class Regatta hosted the Laser Atlantic Coast Championships and Finn Midwinters on January 13 to 15. With moderate to strong conditions for all three days, Juan Maegli (GUA) topped the 44-boat Laser fleet, Chase Carraway (USA) beat out the 93-boat Laser Radial fleet with Pernelle Michon (FRA) as top woman in second, Emma Shakespeare (USA) bested the 15 Laser 4.7s, and Milan Vujasinovic (CRO) won the 8-boat Finn fleet.
