VIDEO: Victims of fun

The 34th running of the San Diego to Vallarta International Yacht Race had 28 entrants competing on the 1000 nm course from San Diego, USA to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The biennial event in 2018 had staggered starts on March 1 (Div 7), 2 (Div 4/5/6), and 3 (Div 0/1/3).

Viggo Torbensen’s J/125 Timeshaver covered the distance in just over five days to win Division 6 and finish second overall to Roy Disney’s Andrews 70 Pyewacket. Sailing on Timeshaver, Keith Magnussen delivers this highlight reel from the race with the song ‘Starry Eyed Surprise’ by Shifty.
