Point Loma wins Team Race Nationals

Point Loma High School (San Diego, CA) went undefeated over the 12-team field to claim the High School Team Racing Nationals, held May 26-27 in San Diego, CA. Sailed in Club Flying Juniors, the Pointers along with defending champs Antilles School (St Thomas, VI), Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA), and Clear Falls High School (League City, TX) advanced to the final round where they finished in that order. The winners were led by Jack Egan ’20/Jonah Hatt ’19, Diego Escobar ’20/Emma Batcher ’18, and Jack Reiter ’18/James (JD) Schrady ’18.
