Trentino, Italy (July 5, 2018) – The second day of the 2018 Youth Match Racing World Championship struggled with wind conditions which allowed for only three flights. The first qualifying round robin stage is near complete for the 12 teams from 11 nations, with the next stage to see the fop four qualifiers advance to the knock-out round to determine the champion.

Italians Ettore Botticini with Lorenzo Gennari and Simone Busonero remain perfect at 10-0 followed by the New Zealand crew of Nick Egnot-Johnson at 8-2 and American skipper Christopher Weis on 7-2.

Racing is being held July 4-8 in J/22s on Lake Ledro in Trentino, Italy.
