France wins Youth Match Racing Worlds

Marin Micoulot (FRA) topped the standings to win the 2025 Youth Match Racing World Championship, held July 23-27 in Gdynia, Poland. Light winds plagued the event, and while the round robin qualifying stage was completed, racing was limited in the knock-out rounds, with the Final and Petit Final decided on qualifying results.
“We knew that this week’s forecast was going to be very light, so we wanted to do our best in the round robin,” said Micoulot, who sailed with Camille Pfaff, Aristide Delin, and Clarisse Baissa. “We were supposed to race another French team led by Ange Delerce, but that didn’t end up happening. If it had, it wouldn’t have been any different to us than racing a team from another country.
USA teams led by Justin Callahan and Morgan Pinckney finished third and fourth, respectively. Sixteen teams representing 12 countries competed in RS21 keelboats,
