Kiwi sailors recognized for service

(October 10, 2018) – Top Kiwi sailors Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have been made Members of the New Zealand Order of Merit, an order of chivalry in New Zealand’s honours system. The Olympic gold medallists and America’s Cup-winning pair were made members for services to sailing, during an investiture ceremony today at Government House in Auckland. Full report.
