Kona Class brings together all sizes

The 2018 Kona North American Championship expects 30 competitors for the windsurfing competition on October 20-21 in Pensacola, FL. The class utilizes a unique handicapping system which allows everyone to race together on one course, with different sized sails leveling the playing field for sailors of various body sizes and weights. The North Americans will provide a final test before the 2018 Kona World Championship to be held October 27-31 in Clearwater, FL.

Men, women and juniors sail together with sails to designate their body weight, from Yellow for light to Orange for Heavy with Red, Blue and Green in between.
