2019 Tampa Bay to Ft. Myers Race

The 2019 Tampa Bay to Ft. Myers Race included 30 teams for this 100nm coastal course along the Gulf side of Florida. Dating back to 1946, racing started May 24 for the Spinnaker, Racer-Cruiser, Non-Spinnaker, Cruising, and Multihull classes. George Cussins’ J/105 Fire & Ice topped the 13-boat Spinnaker class by over four minutes with Roger Gatewood’s J/42 Shazaam! In second and Chip Merlin’s B32 Chip’s All In finishing third. Details.
