Conte defends Lightning World title

Espoo, Finland (June 17, 2019) – Chilean Felipe Robles won both races today but it was not enough to dislodge Javier Conte (ARG) from winning the 2019 Lightning World Championship, defending his title from 2017 for the biennial event. Conte with teammates Ignacio Giammona and Paula Salerno won by three points over Robles with David Starck (USA) six points off the lead in third. Eight races were held from June 14 to 17.
