Porter takes over E Scow Nationals

Published on September 7th, 2019

Muskegon Lake, MI (September 7, 2019) – Day two of E Scow US Nationals proved to be a long day of racing for the fleet and race committee. The sailors were greeted with sunnier conditions and increasing breeze, completing three races in breeze ranging from 7-15 knots with directions from WSW shifting to N for the last race of the day.

The final race of the day proved to be a difficult one to get off starting with a U-Flag, going to a black flag disqualifying several top boats for race 6.

Currently, Brian Porter leads with a total of 19 points, followed by Eddie Cox with 21 points, and Clay Johnson in third with 24 points. One race scheduled for the third and final day of racing tomorrow.

Racing is from September 6 to 8
