Video Highlights: World Cup Series Miami

Published on January 30th, 2020

The schedule at 2020 Hempel World Cup Series Miami had qualifying races for the 182 sailors from 45 nations from January 20 to 24 with Medal Races on January 25.

The 31st edition for the event was a bit small, with only 7 of the 10 Olympic events due to scheduling conflicts with Southern Hemisphere championships, but the competition was no less vital.

This full 52-minute highlights show includes interviews with 470 Men sailors Jordi Xammar and Nicolas Rodriguez (ESP), Laser Radial sailor Vasileia Karachaliou (GRE), and RS:X windsurfer David Mier Y Teran (MEX), as well as features on tracking used in sailing, US Sailing Olympic Director Meredith Brody and the US Sailing Centre venue, and a coral reef restoration project in Miami which sailors took part in.
