Entry open for 2020 Sailing Video Award

The Mirabaud Sailing Video Award international video competition will once again celebrate the worlds’ best sailing videos and their authors in 2020. Professional directors, cameramen, editors, and professional sailors are invited to send in their videos until October 20 for the fourth edition of the competition.

The videos of the three previous editions are available online.

An international and independent jury will be asked to judge the videos by end October. The winners will be announced and celebrated on November 23 during the Yacht Racing Forum in Portsmouth (UK). The winner will be selected according to several criteria, described in the event rules.

The public will be invited to vote online for their favorite videos, and to define the winners of the Public Award.

Dates to remember:
• The videos must have been filmed between 24 October 2019 and 19 October 2020.
• Videos must be submitted by October 20, 2020 at midnight GMT.
• Public voting will be open from October 22 to November 12, 2020.

Two important criteria:
• Duration of the videos comprised between 45 and 120 seconds.
• Royalty-free soundtrack.
