When entertainment is out of phase
Published on April 8th, 2020
The 25th James Bond movie, No Time to Die, was set to release on April 10 before the coronavirus outbreak, but fearful of empty theaters, was postponed until November 2020. Smart move, as life should resemble some form of normal by then.
However, fully missing the shift during this pandemic is the new survival adventure online game Windbound with its release on the August 28. Desperately now in need of distractions, this inside game will be ready when we are ready to be outside.
Windbound is based on every sailor’s fear – being shipwrecked alone on an uncharted island. Gamers will need to use their will and skill to survive as they uncover the island’s resources and discover secrets that’ll help them find their way home.
Critical to survival will be designing and building a boat to battle tempestuous winds, monstrous waves, and deadly sea creatures. Carefully crafting our own custom sailing vessel to traverse from one island to the next will be crucial when resources become scarce.
Subtitled Brave The Storm, having this game now would have helped brave the current storm.
