Islands in the Stream Series update

Published on October 13th, 2020

The winter plan for the 2020-21 Islands in the Stream Series in south Florida and the Bahamas remains on schedule, with the 4-event plan kicking off on November 12 with the Nassau Cup Race, a 180 nm course from Miami to Nassau, leaving Great Isaac and Great Stirrup to starboard.

With the Bahamian government ending the 14-day quarantine period for new arrivals on November 1, shoreside activities will be organized as appropriate given the conditions at the time of the race.

The Notices of Race is online for the first three events, and early entries are encouraged to facilitate planning. For information on Bahamian entry requirements, visit https://bahamasmarinas.com/procedures-and-protocols/

The tropics in January provide the perfect spot to unwind with the Conch Grinder Race, and to enjoy the treasures and pleasures of Key West before the awards party at First Flight Island Bar and Restaurant (formerly Kelly’s Caribbean).
