2021 I420 North Americans

Twenty-nine teams competed in the 2021 I420 North American Championship, held January 16-18 in Miami, FL. Tommy Sitzmann/ Luke Woodworth (above), posting all top four scores in the 8-race series, took the title by six points over Justin/Mitchell Callahan with Will Michels/Spencer Kriegstein in third. Vanessa Lahrkamp/ Katherine McNamara took the top girls spot, finishing 4th overall.

Conditions covered all the bases, with four races on Day 1 in big wind, followed by one very light air race on Day 2 in which half the fleet missed the time limit, and three races on Day 3 in shifty moderate breeze around 10-12 knots.
