For many years, up until Hurricane Irma, MV Reef Sampler was the workhorse of Bitter End Yacht Club, transporting crew members and guests on countless adventures to and from its base in Virgin Gorda, BVI.
On September 6, 2017, while on Bitter End’s stoutest mooring, Reef Sampler was the only Bitter End vessel not hauled out for the coming storm, and after Irma passed, she was nowhere to be seen.
