Twelve High Schools for Team Race title

With COVID-19 regulations impacting education, High School sailing got off to a late start this spring but the Interscholastic Sailing Association (ISSA) begins its Spring Nationals with the 2021 Baker Team Race Championship on May 22-23 in Miami, Florida.

While the Cressy Singlehanded Championship will not be held during the 2020-2021 academic year, the final national title – Mallory Dinghy Championship – will be held June 5-6 in Cleveland, OH.

After a year’s hiatus due to the pandemic, Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA) returns to defend their 2019 team race title with four of the top five schools among the twelve teams registered for the Baker with racing in Club 420s.

NESSA – Greens Farms Academy; Westport, CT
NWISA – Olympia High School; Olympia, WA
PCISA – Mater Dei High School; Newport Beach, CA
PCISA – Corona del Mar High School; Corona del Mar, CA
SAISA – Ransom Everglades School; Miami, FL
SAISA – Antilles School; Antilles, USVI
SEISA – Lake Travis High School; Austin, TX
