Centennial celebration for Star Class

The 100th anniversary of the Star Class World Championship will be held in 2022 on September 10-17 in Marblehead, MA. The Star was first built in 1911 and the Class held its first World Championship in 1922. Since 1922, the Star Class World Championship has been won by over 72 different helmsmen and 75 different crew. The 2022 host will be the Eastern Yacht Club which has previously hosted the Star Class World Championship in 1981 and 1997. – Details
