France leads at 29er worlds

Valencia, Spain (August 27, 2021) – The 2021 Zhik 29er World Championship continued today for the 189 teams which completed only two races, after a postponement on land of almost an hour.

France is in the lead in both male and female categories, led by Keo Devaux and Enael Rio (blue group) and Chloé Revil and Castilla Nell (white group), both tied at 6 points.

Tomorrow, Saturday August 28, the qualifying round will be completed with three races scheduled, with the first start scheduled for 1:00 p.m. After closing that qualifying round, there will be three days of the final round with the gold and silver groups.

Racing for the 189 teams is August 26-31. All competitors must be at least 13 years of age in 2021 with no maximum age, and prizes will recognize the top men’s and women’s teams along with the top teams under 17 years of age.
