Qualifying complete at 29er Worlds

Valencia, Spain (August 28, 2021) – The 2021 Zhik 29er World Championship continued today for the 189 teams, which completed the qualifying series.

The top American team of Ian Nyenhuis and Noah Nyenhuis finished the qualifying series in 10th place with 29 points. The next closest American team finished in 16th place, Anton Schmid and crew Peter Joslin.

Tomorrow, Sunday August 29 until Tuesday August 31, the final round comes into play with the gold (40 teams), silver (40 teams), bronze (55) and emerald (55) groups.

Racing for the 189 teams is August 26-31. All competitors must be at least 13 years of age in 2021 with no maximum age, and prizes will recognize the top men’s and women’s teams along with the top teams under 17 years of age.
